Third-person perspective action game with RPG features and a sequel to the warmly-received production created by Cavia in 2010. The second installment was created by a different developer – Platinum Games known for the Bayonetta series. Despite that, Tarou Yokou, the creator of the first game, retained his position as the director of the project. The game takes place in distant future in which Earth was destroyed due to war against deadly machines.

An unusual, isometric RPG game that is the first title developed by Estonian studio Fortress Occident. The game is focused mostly on narrative. It takes place in a fictional world that combines modern setting with fantasy traits and with retro-futuristic technologies. The player assumes the role of a policeman who is tired of life. He begins working on a case that can either give him a chance of redemption or take him to the very bottom.

An action adventure game to be available on PlayStation 4 and later on also PC. The title was designed by the industry legend and co-creator of the Metal Gear series, Hideo Kojima. The story of Death Stranding focuses on the evolution of human race and on the “connection” motive which redefines the role of failure and death in videogames. American actor Norman Reedus who is well known for his role in The Walking Dead TV series plays the role of the main protagonist of the title.

Inspired by a popular game Papers, Please, this is an unusual mix of genres by the Polish studio Polyslash. We. The Revolution is set in the 18th-century Paris during the French Revolution. The player takes the role of a judge in the Revolutionary Tribunal, who judges both revolutionists and their enemies, as well as criminals and ordinary citizens.

An adventure game with survival elements. In Endling we play as a fox trying to escort three puppies to a place where people cannot hurt them. The game presents a dystopian vision of the future where the overexploitation of natural resources led to total devastation of the environment.

A third-person action game set in a fantasy world inspired by Celtic mythology. Title was developed by the British studio Ninja Theory, known for Enslaved, Heavenly Sword, and DMC: Devil May Cry. In the game we traverse a dark, mythical world, full of references to popular stories, characters, and monsters born in the imagination of the Celts. Protagonist of the game is a female warrior named Senua, who embarks on a dangerous journey to the land of the dead.

The place was once inhabited by a great civilization that had fallen for unknown reasons. The player is tasked with discovering the mysteries of specific locations. They can complete this task by joining forces with other users. The game was designed with multiplayer in mind.

A combination of adventure and arcade games, created by an independent developer known as Infinite Ammo. The player assumes the role of Mae - a cat with paranormal abilities. The protagonist quits her studies and returns to her hometown - Possum Springs, in order to have some quality time with her old friends. The place has fallen into decline since the last mine in town was closed, because the inhabitants have been left without work.

A two-dimensional action game with designs resembling old cartoon movies, which is a debut production of StudioMDHR, an independent developer. In Cuphead, we assume the role of a gambling addict that loses his soul to the devil during one of his sessions. To retrieve it, he needs to work off its equivalent. When it comes to mechanics, the game is a 2D fighting game with a degree of platforming elements – we participate in continuous 1v1 fights, taking place on special 2D arenas.

We play the role of the title Stanley - an employee of a large corporation, whose task is to perform the commands that appear on the computer screen.

SUPERHOT is an unusual FPS developed by Blue Brick studio. Finished in just 7 days, the first version of the game was presented during the 7 Day FPS Challenge in 2013. Gameplay of SUPERHOT consists of eliminating subsequent opponents in sterile rooms and corridors, where time stands still as long as the player doesn't move.

A platformer with puzzle game features, developed by Upper One Game studio. The story of Never Alone is based on Inuit beliefs, with players taking control of a young girl from the Inupiaq tribe who sets on a dangerous journey with her white fox to save her people and stop the arrival of the eternal blizzard. During her adventure, she will meet many creatures from Inuit legends, such as Sky People, Rolling Heads or Blizzard Man.

A 3D platformer that came out as a reboot of one of the most popular adventure game series, featuring the titular Sonic the Hedgehog. This production was created by a SEGA’s subsidiary, Sonic Team, employing people who helped create the series and its most important iterations.

A two-dimensional adventure game with platformer features from the independent Polish team at Juggler Games. It takes players to a fictional city ruled by the Evil King and his army of robots. Certain districts have been separated from others by a high wall, and this ghetto is used to contain the so called “worse part of society”. The players take control of two kids trying to survive in the cruel new reality.

Adventure canceled

Another fully-fledged installment of the cult survival cycle of Silent Hill horrors. Norman Reedus and Guillermo del Toro, led by Hideo Kojima, were involved in the production. As a result of a conflict with the publisher Konami, the project was cancelled shortly after the release of its famous demo version, called P.T.

RPG 15 August 2017

An old-school RPG from the independent developer Toby Fox, referencing the Earthbound series. Undertale's story takes place in a world that was witness to a lengthy, cruel war between humans and monsters after a long period of coexistence between both races. It ended with humans driving the monsters underground.

Dreams is an action-adventure game that enables the player to explore worlds generated by other players. The users can decide what shape their world will have, who will inhabit it and what challenges the visitors of their reality will face.

A third-person adventure game starring Dawn the cat. Copycat is an emotional tale about bonds and separation, as the protagonist is replaced by the titular copycat and must find a way to return to her owner.

A hybrid of adventure game, platform game and economic strategy, whose main theme is... dying. In Spiritfarer, the player takes on the role of a girl who, like a mythical Charon, takes the dead to the underworld on her boat. The production was developed by the Canadian independent studio Thunder Lotus Games.
