We will use all kinds of weapons as we play. In many cases, cooperation with our unit is the only way to achieve victory. if we run out of ammo or need healing, we have to ask one of our team mates for bullets or medical kits. Along with the single player campaign, Call of Duty: WWII offers a competitive multiplayer mode. The biggest novelties found in the game are the narrative War mode and the Headquarters, game's social center so to speak. As usual, the game comes with a B-class movies styled Zombie mode where we will face undead Nazis.
Sniper Elite 4 (PS4)
Action 14 February 2017
The fourth major installment in the popular tactical first-person shooter series by Rebellion, in which we assume the role of a trained sniper fighting on various fronts of the World War II. In Sniper Elite 4, we control Karl Fairburne, the protagonist of the previous games, who is sent from North Africa to the Apennine Peninsula. His mission is to cooperate with the Italian resistance in order to help the Allied forces that are pushing to the north. As far as gameplay mechanics are concerned, the game develops the ideas of its predecessor, and our task is to efficiently eliminate subsequent targets; how are we going to do it is entirely up to us. The game takes place on vast sandbox maps and, as usual, puts a great emphasis on realistic recreation of bullet behavior depending on the atmospheric conditions. The title is meant to be played solo or in cooperation mode, although it does not lack for other multiplayer features known from its predecessors.
Battalion 1944 (PS4)
A multiplayer-focused first-person shooter set during the World War 2, developed by British Bulkhead Interactive studio. The maps on which we play are inspired by real battlefields of the Great War, like the streets of Carentan or the forests near Bastogne. We play as an infantry soldier and take part in dynamic, purely arcade battles – though not without a good dose of realism, visible in e.g. faithfully recreated weapons. The game emphasizes players skills and lacks a character progression system typically present in other online titles, with our only reward for winning being only cosmetic additions. Battalion 1944 offers many classic game modes, like deathmatch, capture the flag, and their team variants.
War Thunder (PS4)

A free-to-play MMO flight simulator. It was developed by Gajin Entertainment, a Russian studio which previously created such titles as Wings of Prey, Birds of Steel, and Apache: Air Assault. The developers made sure that battlefield reality is faithfully reflected not only in the air, but also on the land (artillery, infantry) and at sea (navy). Progress allows us to upgrade our planes, buy new kinds of weapons as well as learn new piloting skills. War Thunder stands out from its competitors thanks to its high-quality visuals and realistic flight physics.

In the game the player controls the armed forces of Germany, USA, Great Britain and Soviet Union, participating in battles during three large story campaigns and multiplayer skirmishes. The players can choose from more than one hundred varied units and from large variety of tactical options such as ambushes, using buildings as strong points, calling for air support or taking advantage of tanks' weak points. Blazkovicz, goes to Bavaria, where he must steal information about the location of a secret research facility from the Wolfenstein fortress. Further into the game the player goes to a small city of Wulfburg, in which a German archeologist digs out mysterious artifacts that can unleash ancient evil powers. Sniper Elite III: Afrika (PS4)
Action 27 June 2014
The third installment in the series of World War II shooters. Sniper Elite III: Afrika once again tells the story of an American sniper by the name of Karl Fairburne. This time, the protagonist is on a hunt for Nazis in North Africa. The single player campaign constitutes a series of missions with gradually increasing difficulty level. The creators from Rebellion studio prepared a cooperation mode as well. The gameplay is based largely on being able to make a good use of a sniper rifle in the game's numerous shooting sequences. Accurate shots are always rewarded with a slow motion x-ray vision of our bullets penetrating the body parts of the enemies. One of the bigger new features introduced in this installment is the presence of structurally open map layouts, which give much more freedom of approach to the players.

Action 07 November 2017
The first expansion included in the season pass to Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus - a first-person shooter developed by Machine Games and published in the fall of 2017. The gameplay mechanics do not differ much from what players might remember from the base game - during the campaign, a player has to complete consecutive missions, explore various locations, and eliminate numerous opponents including both humans and battle machines. A player is bound to appreciate the fact that all three protagonists are diversified in terms of their abilities and preferred weaponry, which makes each separate playthrough a unique experience.

Jack and his childhood friend Amelia are the main heroes. The story revolves around general Adler’s ominous plan to secure the Third Reich’s victory. The mechanics are purely arcade and missions are abundant in main and side objectives. Interestingly, there are always two characters in the air, each in a separate airplane. The player can easily switch between them and, while piloting one plane, command the other, controlled by AI. From time to time, you can step outside the cockpit and take part in special shooter sequences.
World War Toons (PS4)
Action 13 October 2016
A co-op-oriented cartoonish FPS game, set during World War II, developed by Reload Games, a studio founded by former members of Infinity Ward. World War Toons does not feature a single player campaign, instead focusing on online battles between two player teams, representing the Allies and the Axis Powers. The gameplay is similar to many other online FPS games, although there's an emphasis on controlling tanks. There are several character classes available, each using different weapons, but your choice is not binding and you can change your class when you find the right weapon on the battlefield. Despite the WW2 setting, the game is not quite historically accurate and features a large dose of humor. The high-quality visuals have been created utilizing the Unreal Engine 4.
Guns, Gore & Cannoli 2 (PS4)
Guns, Gore & Cannoli 2 is a sequel to the 2015 game Guns, Gore & Cannoli. Both games were developed by the Belgian studio Crazy Monkey. Once again, we play as the mobster Vinni Cannoli. Fifteen years have passed since the Thugtown city massacre. Mysterious affairs from the past have forced our protagonist to go to Europe, right in the middle of the Second World War. There, we will have to deal with our problems in the most traditional way – killing everything and everyone in our way. Our job is to get from one end of the map to another, eliminating our enemies along the way. We will be facing gangsters, soldiers, zombies, and mutants. Vinnie’s skills and abilities come in handy when doing our job. He can use all sorts of firearms (shotguns, riffles, pistols, etc.), do a double jump, kick, roll, or use two guns at the same time. We can also use elements of the environment to eliminate our enemies.
Battle Islands: Commanders (PS4)
Strategy 14 February 2017
A simplistic RTS game focusing on quick multiplayer duels and employing free-to-play business model. Battle Islands: Commanders was created by the experienced DR Studios, and the game extends the formula of 2013's Battle Islands. The game simplifies the traditional RTS mechanics, but supplementing them with elements borrowed from card games and tower defense titles. Each duel is fought using the cards one has in their deck, which can be modified to one's liking. New cards can be found in chests received for victories. Cards of the same kind can be combined together to improve the firepower and durability of one's tanks and other units. Contrary to the classic RTS games, the player cannot control particular units manually - the player only chooses when and where to place a unit and the rest is done automatically, as the subordinates simply join the battle. Placing various units on the battlefield should be done with caution however, as sending a tank to a zone where the enemy has already placed a soldier with a rocket launcher will have catastrophic consequences.
