Minecraft has been developed with the intention of unleashing the creativity of players, who can freely change the game's virtual world made from voxels (cubic blocks). The gameplay concentrates on terrain transformations, building structures, crafting items, and creating your own adventures.

A sandbox game by System Era Softworks. Astroneer is set in the 25th century, when the civilization on Earth has developed enough for interstellar travel to become an everyday occurrence. It resulted in a certain kind of gold fever — people started to explore other planets on their own, driven by the desire of getting rich quick. The open world of the game is procedurally generated, and the surfaces of planets and moons are made of voxels.

The story is set in the northern regions of the Quebec province, in the 1970s. The game tells the story of a conflict between the owner of the most profitable copper mine in the region - a rich man called W. Hamilton, and the native local community accusing him of devastating sacred sites in search for more profit.

The player is taken to the year 2069, when humanity has to face total depletion of natural resources. Established by governments of world powers, the Worldwide Space Agency decides to resume the exploration of the Moon's surface and the player is cast in the role of an astronaut sent there among others.

The players must make sure that the researchers survive. In order to achieve this goal, they must satisfy their basic needs by providing them with food and rest. They must also fix the broken ship.

An action adventure game set in a science-fiction world created by Three One Zero - a studio led by former Microsoft employee, Adam Orth. The hero of the game is an astronaut trying to survive in space after a disaster destroyed his mother station. Core of the gameplay is exploring and solving logical puzzles, which mainly consist of repairing various equipment which allows us to keep ourselves alive in space.

Its new version was created according to the developers’ first concept, which was previously impossible to realize in full, due to technological and financial limitations. Pathologic takes you to a small town, whose citizens suffer from a mysterious disease.

A spin-off installment of the unique top-down game The Escapist, developed by the publishers of the original, Team 17. The gameplay mechanics are identical to the first installment of the series, but the plot was set in the universe of the popular The Walking Dead comic, having many common plot points. Therefore, in the game, we assume the role of a policeman named Rick Grimes, and our task is not to escape from jail but to get out of a number of locations overrun by bloodthirsty zombies.

The Deer God is an original platform game with roguelike and RPG elements, developed by the independent studio Cinopt Studios in cooperation with Crescent Moon Games. We observe the action from a side-scrolling perspective and play as a hunter who was reborn as a deer. From now on, his most important goal is to survive in a hostile environment. He will also have to do some quests, like growing old, achieving a godlike karma balance, or finding every statuette of knowledge.

The story of The Souls Project is set in the world of the latter game, although the action takes place in the distant future where the Earth is at the verge of an ecological disaster. In the game, we assume the role of a space colonist, a member of an expedition to find new inhabitable worlds.
