Sonic Forces (XONE)
Arcade December 2017
Another installment in the popular platform game series by SEGA. The game was developed by Sonic Team, the creators of Sonic Generations and Sonic Colors. Once again, you play as the eponymous super-fast hedgehog, and your task is to lead the resistance and face the evil Doctor Eggman and his army of giant robots. Sonic Forces utilizes the third person perspective. Like in the previous games of the franchise, you traverse the maps full of obstacles and enemies, and collect golden rings. The biggest attraction of the game is undoubtedly the most characteristic feature of the brand - the speed. The protagonist moves so fast that sometimes you may not be able to discern what is happening on screen. The game also features an option to summon alternative versions of Sonic and to control several of them at once — it is the only way to deal with challenges, which are too much for just one Sonic.

The continuation does not lack in the terms of standard elements of the series, including platformer elements and an advanced combat system, which allows the player to perform extremely impressive moves and precise sword strikes. The visuals have been kept in the same style as those of the predecessor, however, unlike in the original Afro Samurai, the sequel allows us to enjoy the game in co-op mode.
Snake Pass (XONE)
Arcade 28 March 2017
An action platform game with logical puzzles. It was developed by British studio Sumo Digital. The title is based on a prototype created by Seba Liese during a Game Jam. They are doing it in order to defeat a mysterious intruder who threatens the lives of the inhabitants of the realm. The game takes place in a three-dimensional environment and the player takes control of the aforementioned snake. The protagonist’s movement was recreated in a pretty realistic way. It means that, for example, he cannot jump, but instead he crawls along the ground, wraps around objects and swims. All of these actions must be used in order to defeat various obstacles and to find well hidden collectibles. In some situations the friendly hummingbird helps the snake by catching him by his tail and transporting to seemingly unavailable places.

In Clustertruck the player is tasked with jumping across the roofs of trucks that drive in a convoy. Each level has its beginning and end, and the objective of the game is to complete the whole track without touching the ground. Despite the simple gameplay rules, as the game progresses the objectives become harder and crazier. The player will face many traps like lasers, giant rocks and giant guillotines. Another thing that makes things harder is the fact that the truck drivers are very bad – collisions and accidents happen frequently and cause the vehicles to explode. The player can enjoy the game longer thanks to the level editor and the endless mode in which he can try to survive for as long as possible.
