Strategy game with RPG elements, in which you manage a fortress of the eponymous Assassin Brotherhood and lead a self-composed team of assassins. The title was developed by Canadian team Behavior Interactive Studio. Assassin’s Creed Rebellion is set in the 15th-century Spain, where you confront the Inquisition. The Brotherhood is made up of over forty characters, featuring both famous characters from Assassin’s Creed video games and the movie as well as twenty completely new individuals. The fortress in your command is the main base of operation for your men, from where they set out for missions in teams of up to three members. As you advance to new progression levels, you are able to expand the fortress with new rooms and purchase equipment. On the other hand, while performing specific tasks (which require heroes with specific abilities), you gain DNA fragments (unlocking more Assassins), raw materials (for improving existing units), and crafting materials (needed to create better equipment). Against a background of other Assassin's Creed games, Rebellion is distinguished by its graphics design, based on Chibi stylistics.

Naruto x Boruto: Ninja Voltage is a mobile game developed by Bandai Namco. The title was designed with multiplayer mode in mind. It enables the player to fight for user-built fortresses. Before the combat starts, the players are preparing the battlefields, for example by setting traps in strategic locations. The game features a cooperation mode in which the players join forces to fight against enemies controlled by the artificial intelligence. Naruto x Boruto: Ninja Voltage features many characters known from Naruto universe. The graphics are similar to the animated original as well – they feature high quality portraits and beautifully animated cutscenes that can be watched between the fights. The game uses a free-to-play distribution model. It also features optional microtransactions.
Torchlight: The Legend Continues (iOS)
Developed by Fedeen Games, Torchlight Mobile is a spin-off to a popular hack-and-slash game series. The title was developed from scratch with mobile devices in mind, and thus it is not a simple conversion of any of the previous installments. Torchlight Mobile invites you into a classic fantasy universe, as it stands on the brink of destruction at the hands of servants of darkness. Obviously, the task of defeating the evil forces and saving the world falls down on the player. You can pick any of the four playable character classes: Berserker, Engineer, Outlander, and Embermage, each one representing a completely different profession and requiring different play style. In a typical action RPG manner, the gameplay boils down to fighting hordes of monsters, developing your character’s skills, and upgradeing their equipment, e.g. by combining several weaker items into one more powerful. Torchlight Mobile features slightly cartoonish artworks, characteristic of the core games in the series.
Shadow Fight 3 (iOS)

Shadow Fight 3 is a 2.5D fighting game, which means that while the graphics were made in full 3D, the gameplay mechanics are 2D. The three-dimensional locations and characters are the main difference between this game and the previous installments in the series. The production utilizes a free-to-play model with microtransactions. The game is set in a fantasy world inspired by Asian legends and features warriors, who can use superhuman powers. The gameplay consists of one-on-one duels in a gesture-based combat system. Those classic fighting game rules have been expanded by adding some role-playing elements. You create your character, which can be further developed thanks to a skill tree, allowing you to unlock new techniques and attacks. The production features a singleplayer mode and a multiplayer mode; the latter allows you to fight other players to to join them in the co-op mode, in which you battle the AI.

A mobile MOBA developed by an in-house developer studio of Tencent Games. Strike of Kings is a recreation of League of Legends, recreating all the mechanics and assets offered in the aforementioned game. The players are split into two teams (1v1, 3v3, or 5v5 matches) in which each player controls a single hero, equipped with a set of unique skills and abilities. Both teams are tasked with destroying the base of the opposing side, guarded by turrets and AI-controlled units, which requires cooperation and a skillful use of the available abilities. The game uses a free-to-play model with optional microtransactions.
An arcade top-down racing game. Eat My Dust! was developed by Immobile Games studio (Hopping Penguin and Master Archer 3D) for mobile platforms. The title is a typical example of the genre, featuring a light tone and vector graphics. The players can use several vehicles that are unlocked as they progress in the game. The tracks on which the races take place all feature desert scenery. Despite the fact of being short, they are filled with various ramps, traps, and destructible objects that make the races more interesting. The developers made sure that their game has simple, intuitive controls – the game uses automatic acceleration and auto-regenerating boost. The player must focus only on controlling the vehicle. Eat My Dust! offers both single- and multiplayer. The first mode offers many races against AI as part of the campaign, and time trials. As for the multiplayer mode, up to four players can play simultaneously.
South Park: Phone Destroyer (iOS)

South Park: Phone Destroyer is a mobile strategy game based on a controversial TV series for adults. Developed by RedLynx – creators of the Trials game series – this South Park game installment bases on a free-to-play business model and features some microtransactions. During the game, players have to collect cards representing characters known from the TV series and use them in order to build decks. Cards can be played during real-time battles, resulting in new characters appearing on the map and advancing on the enemy forces. The gameplay comes down to battles between two factions fighting each other from opposing sides of the screen. Creators prepared a typical for this kind of video games multiplayer mode. At the same time, the game offers an extensive story campaign, which, compared to similar games, is an unusual thing. Like the animated TV series, the entire game features the atmosphere of absurd comedy – jokes are plentiful, while the script savages almost everything and everyone. Also, the visuals are kept in the same style as the TV series’, which should not come as a surprise – South Park: Phone Destroyer has been created in cooperation with Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the fathers of the original TV series.
PayDay: Crime War (iOS)
A mobile installment in the series of first-person shooters that is popular on consoles and PCs alike. The title was developed by the creators of the main entries of the PayDay franchise – Overkill Software. PayDay: Crime War focuses on multiplayer – the game’s mainstay is team PvP. One team assumes the role of criminals and the other team assumes the role of a SWAT team. The objective of the former is to perform a robbery while the law enforcers are trying to prevent them from succeeding. The game takes place in varied locations. As the player progress in the game, he unlocks new weapons, armors and additional abilities. High-quality graphics and easy controls are big assets to the game.

Inside is the second project of the independent Danish studio PlayDead, which became famous by creating the cult game Limbo. The game's development was partially funded by a grant from the Danish government. The story tells about a young boy who must stop the forces of evil that are trying to take over the world by experimenting on humans. The gameplay mechanics are similar to classic platformer games. They combine the necessity to solve various puzzles with tasks requiring reflexes and good manual skills. The game takes place in a dark universe where the rain never ceases to fall. The visuals of the game are similar to the ones used in the previous bestselling game developed by PlayDead studio. However, this time the world is three-dimensional. The colors in the game are toned down and the music is atmospheric. The game was created by using the popular, multi-platform Unity engine.

A unique first-person puzzle game developed by the Croatian Croteam studio, the creators of the Serious Sam series. Our character wakes up in a world filled with ancient ruins and advanced technology, where he finds 120 puzzles prepared by a creator, employing various laws of physics and different mechanics. We travel across the game’s world nonlinearly, choosing our own path and completing the tasks presented to us, which consist of e.g. manipulating tetris blocks, using gusts of wind, controlling drones, or disabling guarding turrets. Every decision has impact on our future, and the difficulty of puzzles rises with time, as we face deadlier traps and dangers. The characteristic feature of this title are its high-quality visuals that benefit from the Serious Engine 4 technology. It allows for scanning real life locations and items, then bringing them to virtual world.
Overland is a survival strategy game developed by Finji. The game takes place in a not-so-distant future where an unspecified cataclysm devastated the North American continent. We lead an constantly changing group of survivors who, traveling by car, are trying to reach their destination. Gameplay focuses on survival. We will be forced to make many difficult decisions as we play. We will also have to find a way to deal with the constant shortages of gas, ammunition, and supplies, but monsters that hunt their prey with their hearing are the biggest threat we will have to face. The game is presented through a series of turn-based events that take place on small areas covered with square grid. During each turn we will have the opportunity to give orders like moving, starting a campfire, resting, looting the area, and fighting.

Football Manager Mobile 2018 is a special edition of Football Manager 2018 developed by Sports Interactive, designed for smartphones and tablets. Unlike its original version, the game does not allow a player to experience 3D matches, features poorer database, and simplified interface. On the other hand, the game delivers all of the most important functions. This means that a player has to come up with tactics before each match, change the players, purchase and sell players, tend to the club’s budget, and use the help offered by the talent hunters. All this makes Football Manager Mobile 2018 a much more dynamic game, perfect for e.g. a break during the work; but it also offers many possibilities, which make the game one of the most advanced applications available on the market. The game has been published by Sega and is available at a much smaller price than Football Manager 2018 and Football Manager Touch 2018.
Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear (iOS)
An official expansion for the Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition from 2012. It was developed by Overhaul Games and serves as a story bridge between the first and the second installment in the Baldur’s Gate series. In the game, we face a sinister crusade led by a warrior known as the Shining Lady who is also a bhaalspawn. Siege of Dragonspear introduces four completely new companions that can join our party. The title also offers a new character class, new locations, quests, items, spells, and so on. On the technical side, the expansion does not deviate from the original game released three years earlier. We can start the adventure using a character imported from Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition, and then export it to Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition upon having finished the expansion.
Darkest Dungeon: The Crimson Court (iOS)

The first expansion for the 2016 dungeon crawler RPG Darkest Dungeon by Red Hook Studios. The add-on utilizes the gameplay mechanics from the core game — you complete a team of heroes and set out to explore the eponymous Darkest Dungeon. Your goal is to find enormous riches, with which you can expand a shabby hamlet, also serving as your base. Like in the original Darkest Dungeon game, the characters of The Crimson Court suffer from typical human ailments — some of them may go berserk, while others may panic when surrounded by darkness. The game places a strong focus on blood, which is a theme connecting the items you find and your enemies. The expansion also marks the first appearance of vampires, creatures with a unique set of characteristics and abilities.
911 Operator (iOS)
911 Operator is a game, a strategy-simulator developed by Polish studio Jutsu Games, which is a reiteration of a project which won the Indie Showcase competition held during Digital Dragons 2016. In 911 Operator you become a rescue service operator, and your job is to answer calls from people in danger. The story campaign takes place in 10 cities – you will face many different challenges; some of them amusing, some serious, some frustrating. During the game you have to give advice concerning administration of first-aid as well as choose the right number of people and equipment to send to the scene. A nice touch in the game is the fact that you can sometimes receive prank calls, which have to be recognized and ignored.
Dragon Nest II: Legend (iOS)
A MMORPG by Eyedentity Games and a sequel of the 2010 production originally released in Asia and 3 years later in Europe. Dragon Nest 2 is set in the magical fantasy land known from the first installment, although it takes place in another period. Compared to its predecessor, the mechanics of Dragon Nest 2 are much different, and the biggest difference is changing the setting from self-contained dungeons to a vast open world, which you can freely explore. The game's visual style was also changed from cartoonish to realistic. Some key elements of the original, however, have been preserved, such as the intuitive controls system and dynamic combat. The combat mechanics resemble those typical for action games, and to win you have to rely mostly on your skills instead of character stats.
Might & Magic: Elemental Guardians (iOS)
Migh & Magic: Elemental Guardians is a battle role-playing game with a turn-based combat system, utilizing a free-to-play model with microtransactions. The game is set in a fantasy world, and you play as a student of the Academy of Magic. You create a hero, choose one of the Houses of Magic, and embark on a journey for adventure. During the game you mostly collect units with unique abilities and characteristics, which you can develop and modify with magical symbols. You can also upgrade your hero. The trained units can be used to form a team to be pitted against enemy groups. During battles, you support your troops with spells your hero can use. The game features a singleplayer mode, but you can also try to battle other players on special arenas in the PvP mode.
Tower of Time (iOS)
Tower of Time is an RPG set in a fantasy realm that stands on the brink of destruction. The player assumes the role of a warrior, who, along with a party, decides to explore a mysterious tower that may hold a key to stopping the apocalypse. Gameplay mechanics in Tower of Time mostly rely on exploration of the game world, completing missions, fighting foes, and developing your heroes. Characters represent different classes and have a variety of attacks and special skills at their disposal. Besides, many of them can have impact on their environment. Combat is observed from top-down perspective and played in real time, but it’s possible to briefly slow down time so that you can give orders to your heroes. Throughout the campaign you traverse the 13 floors of the tower, which amounts to 20-30 hours of gameplay. In between missions, you regularly visit a local town in order to regain strength and replenish supplies and equipment. Some buildings in the town can be upgraded, which unlocks new gear and abilities.
The Pillars of the Earth (iOS)
An adventure game from Daedalic Entertainment, based on a popular history novel written by Ken Follet, entitled The Pillars of the Earth. The game of the same title is set in the 12th-century, in the tumultuous period known as the Anarchy. After the sudden death of king Henry I and the only heir to the throne having been killed in the crash of the White Ship, England gets consumed in a violent war of succession. With the war in the background and the tensions between the nobles, clergy and the common people constantly growing, the game tells a story about an attempt to raise a monumental cathedral in a fictional city of Kingsbridge in the south of the country. As for the game’s mechanics, The Pillars of the Earth is no different from a typical adventure game with gameplay based on exploration of different locations, conducting conversations, and solving various logic puzzles.
The Pirate: Caribbean Hunt (iOS)
An action game set in the world of pirates. Created by Miroslaw Dymek, a legendary Polish game maker responsible for series such as Earth 21XX or Polanie. The Pirate: Caribbean Hunt lacks a main storyline driving the gameplay. The action takes place in an extensive, open-world environment recreating a large part of the Caribbean. The player controls a captain of a pirate ship, whose aim is to gain fame and riches at sea. The game consists of completing subsequent missions that focus mainly on combat and exploration. The player plunders cargo ships, pirate bases, forts, and harbors. Between the missions, the player can make improvements to their fleet, choosing from sixteen diversified classes of ships, upgraded alongside their progress in the game. In-game sailing features realistic mechanics, making it a great asset to the game - this element was based on the personal experiences of the creator, who is an avid sailor himself. The game has offers extended online features as well, allowing the players to create their own pirate clans.

Collecting characters is the key aspect of the game. There are more than one hundred warriors to obtain. Each of them has unique special attacks that the player must first unlock and then upgrade with experience points. The title features story mode in which the player faces artificial intelligence and multiplayer mode which enables the player to face other players via Internet and to participate in faction wars. In addition to that, the players can upload their replays that are used for teaching AI new tactics.

The players, survivors of a worldwide cataclysm that destroyed the human population, enter a hostile world inhabited by prehistoric creatures such as dinosaurs or mammoths. We begin the game by creating our character – we can choose their sex, looks, and starting abilities. The action is seen from an isometric perspective. Living on one’s own is possible, albeit tough, considering numerous dangers and enemies that we may encounter - we can join one of growth-oriented player communities, living together in real time. Our goal is survival, which means searching for resources, growing food, creating necessary items, or even constructing various buildings. Moreover, groups of players can engage in big game hunting or PvP combat.
Shadowgun: Legends (iOS)
Another major installment of the mobile action game series developed by Madfinger Games, a Czech studio known for Dead Trigger, among other titles. The action of Shadowgun: Legends takes place in the future, and we assume the role of spec ops soldiers whose task is to save the galaxy from an alien invasion. Contrary to its predecessor, the game is a first-person shooter with RPG elements which isn’t very different from other mobile FPSs. The production can be played both in single- and multiplayer mode. Starting out, we possess weak equipment and weapons. With time and subsequently completed missions, we gain experience and funds that let us buy various enhancements. What’s interesting, players’ actions have an influence on the game’s universe, thus making it constantly change.
Forward Assault (iOS)
First-person online shooter developed by Blayze Games with the view of mobile platforms. Forward Assault’s lead designer was Lucas Wilde, the man whom players owe the creation of Bullet Force, released in 2016. Forward Assault takes you over to virtual battle zones, where you take part in dynamic multiplayer combat. The game offers a variety of weapons, including the legendary AK-47 assault rifle as well as the Desert Eagle pistol. Apart from several multiplayer modes, Forward Assault includes single player, in which you face AI-controlled opponents.
