As befits a true adventure game, Fran Bow is focused on exploration, conversations with encountered characters, and solving logic puzzles. To beat the last listed element, we will have to use medications in an appropriate, balanced manner. On one hand, they trigger horrifying visions in the protagonist’s mind, but on the other, they open her eyes to important clues that can help us push the story forward. The game is characterized by hand-drawn two-dimensional graphics that somewhat resemble the early productions of Tim Burton. The atmospheric soundtrack harmonizes with the heavy atmosphere of the plot.
