The production is kept in a horror atmosphere and tells the story of a small village of Hinamizawa, which in June 1983 became the scene of a series of brutal murders. The game boils down primarily to passive tracking of the plot presented in text form enriched with simple pictures.

Together with other students, he is taken to a school called Gifted Inmates Academy. The academy’s director is a teddy bear named Monokuma.
