PlayStation 3 is the 7th generation console from Sony. It was released on November 17th, 2006 in North America and March 23rd, 2007 in Europe. PS3 came about a year later than its biggest rival – Xbox 360 from Microsoft – so it didn’t manage to conquer the market as PlayStation 2 had done a couple of years earlier. Also, complicated architecture of the console – based on the Cell CPU which became a pain in the neck for game developers – made it harder to achieve great sales results. PlayStation 3 was succeeded by PlayStation 4 in 2013.

MotorStorm is a production prepared by Evolution Studios (a bastion of World Rally Championship series creators), which deals with off-road races. This is the first production of this team dedicated to PlayStation 3. However, this title breaks with traditional rallying in favour of a fierce and competitive fight between different types of vehicles.

The model responsible for simulating these risky actions is very complex, offering the possibility of performing many interesting tricks. The game is also characterized by a detailed audiovisual setting.

Truncated version of MotorStorm: Pacific Rift racing game, enriched with support for 3D technology. This is a stand-alone title and does not require a tile with a full version of the Pacific Rift. The authors offered 10 tropical routes on which we use vehicles such as motorcycles, buggies, trucks and monster trucks.

Extremely fast racing quads and motorcycles straight from the authors of Call of Juarez and Xpand Rally. In the game we have at our disposal a dozen or so different machines, with which we are able to cover each of the routes prepared by the creators in any way. The whole thing is based on dynamic fun and is not strong on any realism.
