Mouse Trophy, released on PC and PS2, was developed by Neko Entertainment.

Mechanics

The action of the game is set in a small town, famous for its mouse competitions. The player plays the role of a participant and coach of a team of five rodents. Our task is to guide the animals through crazy labyrinths, filled with traps and bizarre mechanisms.

The gameplay in Mouse Trophy is primarily about manipulating elements of the environment (e.g. activating various devices, opening gates, shifting switches). The player selects their team from 15 available mice, each of which has different skills. Interestingly, as the game progresses, the little animals gain experience, which allows them to deal with some obstacles without our help.

The developers took care of a large variety of both the appearance of labyrinths (including casino and Halloween-themed ones), as well as the difficulty level. There are more than 30 obstacle courses to overcome, where you can encounter 50 types of traps, mechanisms and accessories.

Technical aspects

As for the graphics, Mouse Trophy won't impress anyone. Both the character models and elements of the labyrinths, as well as their surroundings, are of average quality. However, this is justified by the low hardware requirements.
