Puzzle & Dragons Z 3DS

Puzzle & Dragons Z is a puzzle game enriched with RPG elements. This is a heavily expanded version of the mobile hit. The production was developed by the Japanese studio GungHo Online, the same team that was responsible for creating the prototype for smartphones and tablets.

The game is an interesting combination of classic RPG in the style of dungeon crawler with logical game, and all this is seasoned with elements modelled on the series Pokemon. The game is about exploring dungeons full of enemies and treasures. However, we do not go on a trip to the underground alone or even with a group of adventurers. Instead, we take command of a team of trained monsters.

The combat system is modelled on the Bejeweled series of logical games. On the screen there are thirty different kinds of precious stones. Our task is to manipulate them in such a way as to obtain a sequence of three or more gems of the same type, which allows us to launch an attack on an opponent. The more stones we group together, the stronger the blow we inflict. The clashes are enriched by a system of elements assigned to different types of jewels. Each enemy is weak against one element and the damage dealt will be much greater. The game also allows you to combine attacks into powerful combo.

During the adventures, the player collects new, increasingly powerful monsters, which he then joins his team. At once we can direct one officer and four of his subordinates. All monsters can be developed as well as merged into two specimens to create a new, much stronger species.

Puzzle & Dragons Z is not just a simple conversion from mobile devices. The biggest change is the removal of all micropayments. The storyline has also been expanded and new monsters have been added.
