Cut the Rope is an arcade puzzle game created by ZeptoLab studio, known mainly to owners of mobile devices. This is the first production of this developer that was released on consoles and PC.

Plot

Cut the Rope tells the story of a green animal sent in a parcel to our home. We have to take care of it. The problem is that the creature is always hungry and the only food it can swallow is sweets. Our task is to continually feed this cheerful monster.

Mechanics

The gameplay combines logical games with arcade elements. The player has to solve puzzles by cutting the ropes with sweets. This should be done in such a way that the candy falls into the creature's mouth. It is also often necessary to avoid various obstacles and pitfalls. For this purpose, we can use, e.g. air bubbles or blow so that food doesn't collide with an obstacle.

Cut the Rope offers many levels, divided according to location and degree of difficulty. Each level is full of new solutions and possibilities, thanks to which the relatively simple gameplay doesn't get bored quickly.

Technical aspects

Cut the Rope uses funny 2D graphics design, which are pleasing to the eyes and stylistically interesting.

Originally, the production debuted on mobile devices with the iOS operating system. It was later moved to other platforms. There is also a browser version available on the official website of the game.
