The next installment of the popular series of logical games, created by Kevin Ryan and Jeff Tunnell and branded by Sierra Entertainment. The version marked with the number 3 is not an official continuation of the cycle, but a slightly refreshed and enriched version of the second part of the game, which was originally released in 1994.

The main concept of the game remained unchanged. We carry out tasks commissioned by the computer, constructing a fancy machine with the use of elements available at various stages. Each of them has different properties and can only be used for a specific action - scissors cut through the ropes, balloons flying upwards push the elements encountered upwards, etc. The scissors can only be used for a specific action. After starting up our intricate machine, we can see if the goal has been achieved with it. If this does not work, we make the necessary corrections to the settings of individual elements or use completely new ones from the rich instrumentation of available items. Contrary to the first edition of the series, the authors resigned from the point system evaluating our achievements. So we have enough time for experimentation and, if necessary, repeated repetition of the system.

In the game we get the same set of puzzles as used in the second part of the series. In addition to the training levels, teaching beginners mechanics of the game, we receive a total of 116 boards, divided into four difficulty levels. As suggested by the designation Version 3.0 in the title, the new version of the game introduces a number of improvements to the gameplay. As the game can only be run from Windows, the game interface has been remodeled, which has been adapted to the capabilities of the windows. The same applies to the editor. During the game we can also listen to a high quality soundtrack, available in the form of audio-tracks on a CD.
