Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim is an economic strategy set in a classic fantasy land and played in real time. The production was developed by Herocraft studio and it is a mobile spin-off of the PC versions of Majesty.

Mechanics

In Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim, we play as the newly crowned king of a small country. Initially, the kingdom is in poor condition and our task is to turn it into a real empire. To achieve this, we need to collect resources, construct new buildings and improve those already built, organize a healthy economy, manage the budget by balancing investment income and ensure the safety of the inhabitants against monsters, bandits and hostile states. We can do that by using thirty powerful spells.

A special feature of both Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim and the whole series is that we cannot give orders to subordinates - we must influence them indirectly, through a system of encouragements and rewards. This rule also applies to heroes staying in our territory, who can undertake dangerous missions only when we pay them enough. Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim offers a wide variety of heroes such as brave knights, unseated barbarians, powerful magicians, insidious necromancers, enterprising dwarves and talented elves. The fun is enriched by RPG elements. All characters accumulate experience points during their adventures, which can then be used to develop their statistics and skills. It is also possible to buy better equipment.

Game modes

Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim allows you to have fun in two modes. The first is the story campaign featuring sixteen missions. Each of these scenarios has specific objectives to be achieved and specific starting conditions. We can also play in skirmish mode, where we can freely determine the initial situation, and then we can face the artificial intelligence without having to perform any quests.

The game doesn't offer any multiplayer modes.

Other information

Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim shares the title with the first installment of the series, developed by Cyberlore studio and released on PC in 2000. Despite the same name, these are two completely separate games. Both are based on the same ideas, but the mobile production has simplified gameplay and a completely different set of missions.
