BlazeRush

BlazeRush is an arcade racing game in which we race in crazy vehicles on tracks full of dangerous twists and turns. The game was created by Targem Games, which has a dozen or so PC titles representing various genres, such as strategies and shooters, including Battle vs. Chess, Planets Under Attack and Hard Truck Apocalypse.

Mechanics

BlazeRush takes an example from many classic arcade production. The action is shown in the isometric view. At the beginning of the game, we choose one of the 16 available vehicles, such as a UFO or various fantastic variations of racing cars. We compete on short but complex and varied tracks. The vehicles are described by three statistics - mass, acceleration and controllability. They are also armed and have a rocket booster, which we can use to gain an advantage on the road.

Game modes

The production offers an extensive single-player mode. During the campaign, we participate in a series of races and challenges, for which we receive new cups, unlock new cars and other accessories. BlazeRush also has a local multiplayer mode for up to four people playing on the same screen. Multiplayer races can be played by up to eight people at once.

Technical aspects

BlazeRush offers colorful 3D graphics that don't impress with the quality of textures or models but compensate for this with spectacular and chaotic explosion effects.
