Goat Simulator: Waste of Space

Goat Simulator: Waste of Space for PC is an expansion for the comedy action game Goat Simulator, released in 2014. The expansion requires the core version of the game and it was developed by the creators of the original game, Coffee Stain.

Plot

Similarly as previous entries in the franchise, Goat Simulator: Waste of Space for PC has absurd tone and it parodies whatever it can, including cult science-fiction movies (such as Star Wars and Alien by Ridley Scott) and modern games action of which takes place in distant future. As for the latter, the developers mostly parody Star Citizen and similar crowdfunding projects.

However, the expansion doesn’t have a typical story. It is a sandbox filled with jokes and opportunities for having fun.

Mechanics

Goat Simulator: Waste of Space released on PC introduces a new map for the game. The size of it is greater than what Goat Simulator offered ever before. The level consists of a large space area and an alien planet with a colony on its surface. During the game player can wage destruction on large space cruisers and on a space station as well. He can also play with small ships and many other futuristic technologies. The game also allows fighting in the space. There is even a romance system available which parodies the one from the Mass Effect series.

Traditionally for the Goat Simulator and expansions to it, the title doesn’t offer any campaign or game modes with specific objectives. Once again it is an interactive joke realized in the form of a sandbox and it serves the purpose of amusing the players.
