Jeeboman for PC was developed by Futuretown, the creators of titles like Cloudlands and A-10. All previous works of the team were created for virtual reality goggles. In Jeeboman the player assumes the role of a gunman who is tasked with protecting a futuristic, neon city from the attack of the robots. The title requires virtual reality goggles and dedicated movement controllers to work.

Mechanics

The action in Jeeboman for PC is presented from the first-person perspective. The gameplay focuses on eliminating waves of robots that are attacking futuristic cities. Later the game also takes place on the ship that belongs to the aliens responsible for the situation. The player will face both regular opponents and bosses that are similar to giant insects – defeating them will require developing a unique tactic. When fighting the enemies, the player can use five varied weapons. One can kill opponents with a laser cannon, a shotgun and even a rocket launcher. The weapon is selected by using a round menu and during the game it is possible to shoot with two guns simultaneously. The player is also using a special device that allows teleporting to various parts of the battlefield.

In the game it is possible to freely look around by moving one’s head. The aiming is performed by using the controllers that are assigned to both hands.

Technical aspects

Jeeboman for PC takes place in a three-dimensional environment. The game is based on Unity technology thanks to which the graphics are of high quality. The music that accompanies the player during the game consists of fast, electronic tracks that suit the tune of the game well.
