Community Inc for PC / Windows is a strategy game enriched with elements of life simulation and survival, developed by a Brazilian studio T4 Interactive and published by the tinyBuild company.
The player is taken to a fantasy world where they take control of a group of settlers called Lings. The story present is not a particularly important part of the game - assuming the role of the manager of a newly created village, the player's tasks are to ensure its development and cater for the subordinates.
In Community Inc for PC / Windows, the action takes place on diverse, procedurally-generated maps or those created from scratch by the players themselves. In similarity to many other games of this kind, gathering resources and constructing new buildings constitute the core of this experience. Among the structures available, the player will find both production-oriented ones and utility buildings. Alongside construction of those, the player needs to remember about building roads, as they make communication more efficient, allow the inhabitants to move faster, as well as quicken the entire production processes. Furthermore, the game features a complex crafting system - the player can craft over 150 items, such as cabinets, which create additional space for storage.
As touched upon above, the player has to pay attention to individual needs of their subordinates - catering for them is necessary for the village to prosper and develop. The inhabitants can make trouble sometimes - arguments resulting from bad mood often turn into larger rifts, which usually does not end up very well for the whole settlement. This is why it is crucial to provide the subordinates with housing, sources of income, food and appropriate clothing. Moreover, additional threats are posed by aggressive, fantasy creatures, as well as weather conditions that can suddenly change. Also, important roles are played here by trade, as well as maintaining more or less friendly relations with other races. It is worth noticing that if things go wrong, the player can sell the entire village at any time in order to start over.
Community Inc for PC / Windows offers likable, three-dimensional visuals - the game was created using a colorful, cartoonish graphic style.
