DrawFighters is a turn-based action game developed by WildBit Studios. The production was released on PS4.

Story

DrawFighters takes players to an unusual universe where fairy-tale characters, medieval knights and Mexican wrestlers fight for glory in the Great Three Volcano Tournament. The playerS takes part in the championship and, by controlling the fighter of their choice, leads them to victory.

Mechanics

What distinguishes DrawFighters from other games of this type is the technology used by the developers, which enables us to draw our own fighter from scratch, whose two-dimensional designs are transferred to the game using a special mobile application and converted into three-dimensional models. Drawings can be made both directly in the aforementioned program, as well as on specially prepared sheets of paper.

The individual warriors (including the one we create ourselves) belong to families that are part of three main groups. Which of the four families within a given group we decide to choose determines both the skills that we will use on the battlefield (namely elemental, mystical and magical powers), as well as which opponents we will have a natural advantage over. The attributes of characters also play an important role - it's only up to us whether, when assigning jewels that increase their value, we focus on resistance to damage, or on attack power.

When our hero is, there is nothing else left to do but to start the fight for victory, taking part in subsequent duels in the arena. The fights, taking place in turn-based mode, have been divided into rounds, and as we succeed, we gain not only jewels (allowing for further development of the player's stats), but also new special skills, which we can use in duels against increasingly powerful opponents. In this way, we will gradually climb up the career ladder and eventually take part in the final battle for the victory in the tournament.

Technical aspects

The visuals of DrawFighters looks decent, especially if we take into account the aforementioned possibilities offered by the title. The whole thing is complemented by a dedicated soundtrack that effectively inspires us to battle.
