Stellaris: Apocalypse for PC / Windows is the fourth large expansion for Stellaris, a well-received 4X strategy game released in 2016. It was developed by Paradox Interactive and requires the base game to run.

Stellaris: Apocalypse features new content for both warlike and peaceful players. The expansion ads new gigantic Titan class ships, which have immense firepower and give additional bonuses to the units accompanying them. But the most awe-inspiring s the Colossus a powerful space weapon that can destroy a whole planet. To balance things out, you can also create large defensive installations in space, which can protect you from the stronger enemies. Meanwhile, pacifists can follow new career paths and get new Unity perks.

Another new feature are the Marauders, space pirates living on the edge of civilization. Those galactic nomads raid the nearby empires, which can hire them as mercenaries and use for their own benefit. However, halfway through the game the pirates can unite, which creates a dilemma: use their services and face a big crisis later or use your resources to fight them.

Technical aspects

Stellaris: Apocalypse doesn't feature any changes to the technical aspects of the game, apart from adding three new tracks to the soundtrack by Andreas Waldetoft.
