Swing

Swing is a puzzle game developed by the German company Software 2000. The title is also known under the title Marble Master as it was published in the United States.

Mechanics

The rules of Swing are reminiscent of the iconic Tetris. During the game we arrange different-colored balls, which we choose from the upper part of the screen and move to the sides or drop with the help of a special dispenser. Once a row of at least three balls of the same color has been formed, it disappears together with the adjacent balls.

Things are complicated by the fact that individual balls are described using numbers corresponding to their weight; in addition, we place them on platforms that float and fall depending on the weight of the elements located in adjacent areas. What is more, the position of a heavy ball next to a much lighter one results in the latter shooting upwards and landing two columns further away. In the course of the game, the number of ball colors increases; special power-ups, which appear on the board from time to time, also diversify the fun.

Game modes

Swing can be played solo or with another player in a competitive multiplayer mode.
