Roadkill is an extremely dynamic and not too complicated arcade racing game. This title combines elements of many well-known series. It is a combination of an open world (well known, for example, from the Grand Theft Auto series) with extremely dynamic duels with various vehicles. The latter is reminiscent of such titles as Destruction Derby, Twisted Metal, or Carmageddon. In many ways, the whole thing resembles also the hit movie series Mad Max, because the events are taking place in the near future. Gangs also play a very important role - we have to cooperate with them. The game was developed by Terminal Reality, a studio known for the BloodRayne series, or other games like BlowOut.

Mechanics

One of the main advantages of the described production is that we have great freedom. We can as complete main missions or focus on the exploration of the map. In the first case, the player can eliminate members of competing gangs or recover valuable goods. As in GTA, the tasks are approached in the order set by the developers. We game also has simple cut-scenes.

When it comes to exploration, the player can primarily attack other vehicles. This is because the machine controlled by us is perfectly armored and armed. Collecting fragments of wrecks allows you to earn prestige points. The player can join many interesting mini-games (e.g. deliveries, starting a riot), or find hidden parts and better weapons. New weapons can also be purchased in shops. These include stronger cannons, rockets, and mines. We can also get more durable armor or nitro which is useful in some missions.

Technical aspects

Roadkill's visuals present a relatively high level - we can move around the area freely, without having to load new fragments of the map. It is also possible to buy a radio so that you can listen to local radio stations. RoadKill has a multiplayer mode for four people, focusing mainly on elimination of other players.
