Gunship Apocalypse

Prepared by Probe Entertainment studio three-dimensional FPP shooting in the climates of science fiction. The title depicts the lives of hunters who travel the destroyed planet on their flying vehicles, collect valuable resources and fight against enemies they encounter.

Plot

The world of the future. The Earth no longer resembles a friendly planet on which you lived comfortably and safely. Dynamic technological development has allowed people to create complex defence systems that protected the world from potential threats from space. However, the constant pursuit of progress finally brought the loss of civilization when, at the beginning of the twentieth century, one of the experiments slipped out of control and completely destroyed the surface of the Blue Planet. Years later, only hunters, looking for valuable objects and remnants of old years of prosperity, travel through unfriendly areas.

Mechanics

Forsaken is a three-dimensional FPP shooter, in which the player takes control of the selected hunter and the floating vehicle he piloted. There are several different heroes to choose from, which differ in speed, maneuverability and resistance to damage. The creators have prepared a total of fifteen non-linearly structured boards, on which the aim is to reach a specific point. These include abandoned bases, underground tunnels and the remains of a nuclear power plant.

On each map, players must search for keys and switches to open blocked passages, collect finds, crystals and gold bars, and fight against robots, combat vehicles and other hunters. Clashes are facilitated by the available arsenal of weapons, which consists of lasers of various types, flame throwers or mine launchers with different characteristics. Each piece of equipment has several power levels, which increase with the collection of special batteries.

Forsaken is a title with a high level of difficulty. One of the elements increasing the challenge is the demanding bosses. Each of them has its own strengths and weaknesses and often requires action planning and excellent hand-eye coordination.

Game modes

Forsaken allows you to test your skills in single player campaign mode, but also offers numerous modules for multi-player fun. Lovers of the competition can take part in the traditional deathmatch with the participation of other pilots, hunting for the flag or team elimination and defending the indicated goal. Each of these options can be additionally modified in the settings, adjusting the rules to your liking.

Technical aspects

Probe Entertainment studio's production is a three-dimensional game maintained in a dark, postapocalyptic style. Electronic music and drum and bass songs in the background create the right mood during the game. There are brutal intermittent scenes in the title, so it is not suitable for younger players.
