Dragon Ball: Origins is one of the games based on the popular manga and anime Akira Toriyama. The action begins with a meeting between Goku and Bulma and presents the adventures they experienced in the search for the seven Dragon Balls. During the journey, our main activity is to protect our companion from the attacks of ominous creatures.
The game is shown on both DS screens, and we observe it from an isometric view. The control is entirely based on the touch screen of the portable console. Using it, we point out to the hero the place where he is going to go. We also activate blows using simple gestures made on the screen. When our energy reaches the appropriate level, we get access to special attacks, such as the shock wave (camehameha). After each battle, the amount of Goku experience increases, affecting Goku's effectiveness in battle.
In addition to dialogues and battles, we also have logical puzzles here, usually based on helping the Bulma to reach places that are difficult to access. The graphics are extremely colorful, with three-dimensional character models and locations transferred directly from the anime. Passage DB: Origins takes about 30 hours, during which a lot of time was devoted to showing long dialogues with humour known from anime or manga.
