Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear GBA

Pocket version of one of the most famous and valued PeCet shooters. As in the case of the original, we are dealing here with a product in which a great deal of emphasis has been placed on the tactical layer. Rogue Spear is therefore far from classic arcade shooting. The player must carefully plan the next moves, choose the right team members and equipment, and take care of their people, because they can die very easily. The GameBoy Advance console version carries an astonishing amount of elements from the original edition of Rogue Spear. As a result, this is one of the most difficult games released on this portable console.

During the game we play as the commander of the title anti-terrorist unit. The team can consist of up to four characters, over which we have full control. There are several different missions to play out. Some tasks only require the elimination of all terrorists. However, there are also more interesting orders, requiring, for example, the rescue of imprisoned hostages. The characters we control are described by basic coefficients such as accuracy, reflexes or the ability to remain hidden. In the latter case, you can count on surprisingly attacking your enemies.

Team members are selected before joining the mission. These are people representing four different professions, including snipers, explosives experts, and people specializing in reconnaissance. The player must not only choose the right character, but also use their skills on the battlefield. As in the case of the competitive The Sum of All Fears, the action is observed in isometric projection. At the same time it is worth mentioning that commanding a team is quite complicated. This is mainly due to the large number of shares that we can choose. As a result, many attacks are worth practicing. Visually the game looks very good. The team is nicely animated and the surroundings are made in detail. Many times many different paths lead to the mission goal.
