Spellforce 2: Faith in Destiny is the second expansion to the 2006 Spellforce 2, the second installment in the popular series of RTS/RPG games. The expansion was developed by Trine Games, which is also behind expansions to Gothic 3 and The Guild 2.

This is SpellForce 2: Shadow Wars expansion pack.

SpellForce 2: Faith in Destiny is the second official expansion for SpellForce 2: Shadow Wars, a sequel to the critically acclaimed SpellForce series that mixes cRPG and RTS genres. It was developed by Phenomic.

Faith of Destiny offers a completely new single player campaign in which, apart from new heroes, we will meet the characters from the previous expansion and the original game. With progress in the story, the player visits both the already known locations as well as those previously unavailable. Moreover, new enemies and traps await therein.

Some changes were also introduced in the multiplayer. Aside from new maps, the developers implemented previously unknown game modes. Some of them were enriched with elements characteristic of MMO games. Making that decision, the developers wanted to enrich the world of SpellForce 2.
