Another sports position coming from a company that is a real giant in this field - Electronic Arts, this time, in contrast to the FIFA series, aimed at fans, building the success of the team not with their own reflexes or dexterity, but with intelligence and resourcefulness. Total Club Manager 2003 gives the player the opportunity to get to know in depth the backstage of football at the highest world level and to feel how hard it is to run a football club, win good players and coaches, set the tactics of the team, take care of the stadium, and above all, how hard it is to maintain oneself and the club. As in all Electronic Arts productions, the aim of the authors was to recreate in real life everything related to the subject of the game - in this case running a football club.

To start with, Total Club Manager 2003 includes 34 of the world's largest football leagues, including the English Premiership, the French LFP and the German Bundesliga; more than 20,000 real players and more than 25,000 young players. The player, as the head of the club, can run a special nursery dedicated to young players and find and "educate" football talents already when they are 9 years old (juniors). We also have a very large field to show off when it comes to training the whole team and individual players (stamina, technical training, etc.), as well as the formation of the team in matches and its playing tactics. Also transfers of players were not forgotten. As the game developers themselves emphasize, the Transfer Market is one of the basic parts of Total Club Manager 2003. It is here that we can make lucrative transactions, put players and our alumni for sale and buy the stars that will lead our team to many victories.

The advantages of this production also include fully three-dimensional graphics used to depict the course of matches. The player keeps an eye on the games, sees how his players are playing and whether the adopted strategy brings results, and if necessary he can react to what is happening on the pitch, exchange weakening players, change the formation of the team, etc. The player is able to see how his players play and whether the adopted strategy brings results. The included editor also deserves praise, thanks to which we can modify every aspect of the game.
